Kristaps Porzingis Praises Knicks Fans After Celtics' Game 6 Exit

In a candid post-game interview, Boston Celtics star Kristaps Porzingis couldn't help but express his admiration for the New York Knicks fans, following the Celtics' departure from the playoffs after a hard-fought Game 6.

Porzingis, who faced the Knicks multiple times in his career, described the energy and passion of the Madison Square Garden crowd as "unbelievable." Although his team was on the receiving end of their fervor, he couldn't help but appreciate the atmosphere they created.

"It's tough to play against them," Porzingis remarked with a smile, "but you've got to love how much they support their team, no matter what." His comments came after the Celtics' 112-104 loss, which saw the Knicks advance further into the postseason.

This admiration isn't new for Porzingis, who spent the early years of his career in New York. "There's something special about playing at the Garden," he admitted, reminiscing about his time in the Big Apple.

Despite the disappointment of the loss, Porzingis remained upbeat, extending his best wishes to his former team's fans. "We gave it all we had, but you've got to tip your hat to the Knicks and their fans. It's their time now," he concluded.

The Celtics will regroup in the offseason, while the Knicks and their loyal supporters look forward to the next round of the playoffs. For Porzingis, the admiration remains, and perhaps, a hint of nostalgia for a city that once chanted his name.
