I’d have loved to keep all those guys, but in the NFL, the salary cap is real."
Despite these challenges, Fangio places immense faith in Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman. "In Howie we trust," Fangio noted enthusiastically. "This is his time of the year. He knows the holes we need to fill, having lost five starters and two top backups. But the plan is clear—get better."
Roseman has already started addressing the gaps, bringing in fresh faces, with more potential additions looming in the draft. Armed with 20 picks over the next two years, the strategic enhancement of their lineup is within reach. Fangio recognizes the depth of Roseman's task but remains optimistic. "He's done that in the offseason. We got some guys, and with the draft, we're poised to pick up good young pieces," he explained.
