Packers Ink Deals with Savion Williams, Additional Picks, and 10 Undrafted Rookies

The Green Bay Packers are swiftly locking down their new talent, with six out of eight draft picks signing contracts as rookie minicamp gets underway.

Headlining this group is third-round selection Savion Williams, a dynamic wide receiver out of TCU. Williams, along with first-rounder Matthew Golden, is set to bolster the Packers' receiving options.

Williams isn’t just any receiver—he's a versatile offensive weapon. Last season, Williams notched 61 receptions for 611 yards and six touchdowns. Not limited to pass-catching duties, he demonstrated his prowess on the ground as well, rushing 51 times for 322 yards and an additional six scores.

Beyond Williams, the Packers have added depth across the field by signing fourth-round defensive lineman Barryn Sorrell, fifth-rounder Collin Oliver also a defensive lineman, sixth-rounder Warren Brinson in the same position, seventh-round cornerback Micah Robinson, and guard John Williams. Still waiting on contracts are first-round pick Golden and second-round offensive tackle Anthony Belton.

In addition to their drafted talent, the Packers invested in potential, signing ten undrafted rookies. This new wave includes UNLV cornerback Jonathan Baldwin, Rice's Brant Banks adding depth at tackle, Florida Atlantic's safety Kahzir Brown, offensive guard Tyler Cooper from Minnesota, Tyron Herring securing the cornerback slot from Delaware, and South Dakota State running back Amar Johnson. Additional signings include Kentucky linebacker Jamon Johnson, Northern Illinois guard J.J. Lippe, Georgia's defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse, and Georgia Southern running back Jalen White.
