Pacman Jones Arrested, Charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assaulting Police Officer

Adam “Pacman” Jones, the former NFL defensive back, finds himself entangled in yet another legal battle. The early hours of Saturday saw Jones booked into the Kenyon County jail in Kentucky, following an arrest in Covington.

Police reports, cited by WCPO, detail an incident at a local bar where officers were called to address a disturbance involving Jones and a bar employee. During this process, tensions escalated and led to Jones' arrest.

The situation took a turn when Jones allegedly assaulted one of the arresting officers during the booking procedure. As a result, he faces charges of assault, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. A court appearance is slated for Monday, where the former athlete will face these latest allegations.

This isn’t Jones' first brush with the law. Just last year, he was detained in Las Vegas on comparable charges after the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson match. In an earlier 2023 incident, Jones also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after a confrontation led to his removal from a flight at Cincinnati’s airport. Going further back, in 2021, he served a brief jail sentence following a no-contest plea to two misdemeanor assault charges.

Over the course of his career, Jones has encountered numerous legal issues. Notably, a 2007 incident led to his suspension by the NFL for an entire season after charges were filed following a shooting outside a Las Vegas strip club. Drafted in the first round in 2005, Jones' football journey has included stints with the Titans, Cowboys, Bengals, and Broncos.
