He continued, "You focus on being the best player I can be. Personal stats are secondary; the team comes first."

His passer rating and yards per attempt actually improved from 2023, and impressively, he ended the regular season with zero interceptions across the final seven games. Such stats suggest stability and progress, clashing with the regression narrative.
