2025 UFL MVP Power Rankings: Jordan Ta'amu Reigns Supreme as Season Ends
As the UFL regular season wraps up, the hunt for the MVP title narrows down to three standout contenders, with one quarterback clearly leading the pack.
3. Arlington Renegades QB Luis Perez
Arlington Renegades' Luis Perez demonstrated excellence under center, wrapping up the season with 2,298 passing yards. In his Week 10 performance, he completed 26 of 32 passes for 283 yards, guiding the Renegades to a decisive 23-6 victory over San Antonio.
Perez’s reliability is unmatched, having started every game of the season in a grueling 12-week stretch. His impressive consistency was highlighted by a second consecutive UFL passing title, as he remained the sole quarterback to surpass a 70% completion rate.
Although Arlington narrowly missed the playoffs, Perez’s performance sets a solid groundwork for a future postseason run.
2. Michigan Panthers QB Bryce Perkins
Despite missing three games, Bryce Perkins of the Michigan Panthers left a significant mark on the field. He threw for 1,342 yards and added 269 rushing yards, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities.
In recognition of his skills, UFL coaches selected Perkins to the All-UFL team. His individual brilliance was pivotal for the Panthers, who are playoff-bound for the second year running, thanks in large part to his dynamic execution under center.
1. DC Defenders QB Jordan Ta'amu
Jordan Ta'amu of the DC Defenders stands as the top candidate for this year’s MVP award, leading the league with 17 passing touchdowns. Though he sat out the final game, his season stats are formidable, having thrown more than 2,100 yards in just nine games with an average of 13.9 yards per completion.
Ta'amu's leadership delivered major wins for the Defenders, including a statement victory over the reigning UFL champions in Week 1 and a commanding triumph against the St. Louis Battlehawks in Week 3. Anticipation builds as the Defenders are set to clash with the Battlehawks once more in the XFL Conference Championship this weekend.
